Glacier Creek Regional Park Reopening

Nelson, BC: The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is pleased to announce the reopening of Glacier Creek Regional Park in Electoral Area D effective today. The park was initially closed on July 25, 2024 due to the wildfire situation in the Duncan Reservoir area. With area restrictions being lifted by BC Wildfire Services and the ability to complete a risk assessment, it has been determined that it is safe to welcome the public back to the park.
