Procedure Bylaw

In accordance with Section 225 (2) of the Local Government Act, notice is hereby given that the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) intends to repeal the RDCK Procedure Bylaw No. 2576, 2019 with RDCK Procedure Bylaw No. 2898, 2024.

The new Bylaw No. 2898, in general, proposes the following amendments:

Updates to Section 2 definitions;
Include a section in Part 3: Meeting for Recording Board Meetings;
Optimize Section 23 Order of Business;
Revise procedures for greater meeting efficiency; and
General updates.
