Regional Parks & Trails
The parks systems consists of 27 Regional Parks and 3 Regional Trails. We manage over 580 hectares (1435 acres) of parkland for the public to enjoy.

Parks & Trails Status:
- Trail development at Crawford Creek Regional Park connecting Peters Road to the main parking lot and beach area, will begin on October 3. Park users can expect to see flagging and roping identifying the trail work area along with pre-mowing and scraping of organic materials in the designated trail space. - A bridge replacement for the current footbridge, over the creek at the pond outlet, will be onsite at Crawford Creek Regional Park on May 24, 2024. There is a temporary closure of the West Beach trail until the bridge is replaced. Please adhere to posted signs and temporary trail closures. Click here for more information.

Park Amenity Donations
Contributions to the Regional District of Central Kootenay's (RDCK) Amenity Donation Program enhances the enjoyment of regional parks and trails. Celebrate friends, family and memorable events with an inscribed plaque on a donated bench or picnic table.
