Water Quality Advisory rescinded for Riondel Water System

Nelson, BC: The Regional District Central Kootenay (RDCK) is pleased to announce that effective immediately, the Water Quality Advisory issued for Riondel Water System has been rescinded.

On September 6, 2018, the RDCK issued a Water Quality Advisory as a precautionary measure due to low reservoir levels which impacted chlorine contact time that affected water quality in the water system. Two subsequent water quality tests indicate that water quality is good in the system.

The RDCK appreciates Riondel water users' cooperation and patience during the advisory.
