Boil Water Notice rescinded for Balfour Water System

Nelson, BC: The Regional District Central Kootenay (RDCK) is pleased to announce that effective immediately, the Boil Water Notice issued for the Balfour Water System has been rescinded.

On September 19th, 2018, the RDCK issued a Boil Water Notice as a precautionary measuredue to work being done for the new reservoir tie-in and associated potential water quality concerns. Two subsequent water quality tests indicate that water quality is good in the system.
