Why are you switching to a new online registration system?

 The registration system previously used by the RDCK will no longer be supported or maintained by the supplier. This gave us the opportunity to find a new supplier to help build a new information and registration system that was easier to use and had better features.

Will my existing information be transferred over automatically? Do I have to create a new account?

If you have registered for a program or used a recreation centre in the past year, and we have your email address on file, you will receive an email with instructions for accessing your account in the new system.

If it has been longer than a year since you registered for a program or used a recreation centre, or if we do not have your email address in our system, you will need to create your new account after the system goes live. After August 28, go to the new online registration page and follow the prompts.

What happens if I have existing credits or debits on my account?

Credits and debits will be brought over from our previous registration system. This process may take up to one week to complete. Please be patient. Our previous registration system will be available for staff to look up past information.

Is the payment process secure?

Yes the payment process is secure. Your payments are processed through Moneris Solutions.

 

Can I still register in person or over the phone?

Yes you can register in person the same as you always have by visiting one of our community complexes or recreation offices.

To register over the phone you will need to setup your account online with your credit card information or visit us in person and setup your account and payment information for the first time. To set up your preferred credit card:

  1. Login
  2. Choose NEW on Finance Info (you may need to scroll down)
  3. Fill in the required fields
  4. Select Save
  5. Now you can phone in to register or book facilities

Why do I need to opt-in to receive notifications and emails?

This is required by Canadian Anti-Spam Law.
