Agricultural Bylaw Review Community Survey Results NOW AVAILABLE!
The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is reviewing how we regulate farmland in the Creston Valley. The purpose of the review is to enable farmers to generate income while protecting farm land.
We are incorporating the recommendations of the Agricultural Area Plan into local planning bylaws. At the same time, we are aligning with changes to the Agricultural Land Reserve Regulation, the Ministry of Agriculture’s Best Practices and the Agricultural Land Use Inventory data.
