City of Castlegar - Bruno Tassone

Bruno Tassone was elected to Castlegar City Council in 2014 and elected as Mayor in 2018. Mayor Tassone has lived in Castlegar his entire life, and he and his wife Kim have three children and six grandchildren. He has been involved with the Castlegar Rebels, as well as coaching and refereeing for minor hockey and minor soccer. He’s volunteered for community events such as the Kinnaird Park Expansion and Dig Dirt Day. Mayor Tassone serves on the Regional District Central Kootenay Board, the West Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital District Board, the Castlegar and District Recreation Commission, the City of Castlegar Transportation and Civic Works Committee, and City of Castlegar Public Safety Committee.
