Request for Quote - Regional Parks and Trail Maintenance

The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) operates and manages a variety of Regional Parks and Trails including the Nelson to Salmo Great Northern Trail (GNR), Bonnington, Cottonwood Lake, Taghum Beach, Pulpit Rock, McDonalds Landing and James Johnstone Regional Parks. The GNR Trail extends a distance of 48 km from Troup Junction to the Village of Salmo. The RDCK requires contract services for the management of these Parks and Trails as well as the Nelson & District Community Complex and North Shore Hall grounds aspart of our service management strategy.

The work entails significant physical activity as the Contractor performs year round (including winter) inspection, maintenance and operational tasks.  Reporting to the Regional Parks Manager, the Contractor has considerable independence of action in the disposition of routine work matters.  The Contractor is to carryout the annual maintenance and project work, monitor trail activities and promotion of the parks and trails.

The RDCK is seeking Quotes for a Contract to supply the Services herein described on or before March 29, 2019.
